Tekka Studio ("we", "us") operates the DestinyCards mobile application ("the App"). This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal data you provide when using the App.

1. Data We Collect

When you use DestinyCards, we may collect the following types of data:

• Account: email address, username, and hashed password when you create an account.
• Game profile: level, experience (XP), credits, Arena division, Arena points, selected avatar, and language preference.
• Game progress: owned cards, created decks, campaign progress, match history, and tournament results.
• Purchases: history of credit purchases, card packs, and Adventurer Pass subscriptions.
• Device: device type, operating system (iOS/Android), app version, and technical identifiers needed for functionality.
• Notifications: permission and preferences for push notifications related to tournaments and rewards.

2. How We Use Your Data

We use your data to:

• Operate the App: authentication, progress saving, matchmaking, and multiplayer gameplay.
• Manage purchases and subscriptions: payment processing and distribution of credits and rewards.
• Run tournaments: Swiss pairing generation, result tracking, standings, and reward distribution.
• Send notifications: tournament alerts, daily rewards, and subscription bonus reminders.
• Improve the App: usage analytics, bug detection, and game experience optimization.
• Ensure security: cheating prevention, fraudulent behavior detection, and moderation.

3. Third-Party Services

The App uses third-party services that may collect data:

• Supabase: database hosting provider for storing game data and user accounts.
• RevenueCat: manages in-app purchases and subscriptions, relying on Apple's and Google's native payment systems. We do not store your credit card information.
• Apple Push Notification Service / Firebase Cloud Messaging: sending push notifications.
• App Store / Google Play: subscription management and purchase verification.

4. Account Deletion

You can request deletion of your account and all associated data (profile, progress, decks, match history) at any time by contacting us at the email address below, with the subject line "Account Deletion". We process these requests within a maximum of 30 days. Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. Purchase data and financial records may be retained longer where required by law (accounting and tax obligations).

5. Data Retention

We retain your game data for as long as your account is active. See the previous chapter for how to request deletion.

6. Data Sharing

We never sell, trade, or rent your personal data to third parties. We may share limited information with our service providers (hosting, payments, notifications) only to the extent necessary for the App to function. We may also disclose data if required by law or necessary to protect our rights and the security of our users.

7. Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including password hashing, role-based access control (RLS), and secure server-side functions for sensitive operations. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure.

8. Children's Privacy

DestinyCards is intended for a general audience. The App is not specifically directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe we have collected data from a child, please contact us so we can delete it.

9. Your Rights

Under applicable data protection laws (GDPR for EU residents), you have the following rights:

• Right of access: access the data we hold about you.
• Right to rectification: correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
• Right to erasure: request deletion of your account and data (see chapter 4).
• Right to object: object to the processing of your data.
• Right to portability: receive your data in a structured format.
